bulletUS National Institutes of Health (NIH): Natural History and cause of NOMID.  This site outlines US government sponsored clinical study which will '.....examine and test patients with neonatal onset multi-system inflammatory disease (NOMID) to learn more about the cause and course of the disease. It will study the disease signs and symptoms and the possible role of a gene called CIAS1, and it will develop a database to gather information on patients with NOMID in the United States and around the world. It will also serve as a screening protocol to offer eligible patients participation in a treatment protocol, if an appropriate one is available'

2) Publications

For online searching of medical journals try PubMed -- it allows keyword search and displays summaries of medical articles.  At a minimum, abstracts of most articles appear to be available.  Less commonly, a few free online full-text publications are available as well.   Document delivery is also offered.  PubMed is developed by the US National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the National Library of Medicine (NLM).

Here are some publications that we have found helpful or informative.  A few are available online, click on the links below.

J. Pediatr.: Journal of Pediatrics

Online articles first (some link to abstracts only, others will ask for a fee to download for non-journal subscribers).  Then hardcopy, arranged by date, most recent first:
